I was supposed to go to a Dagorhir meeting this Saturday, but my ride got cancelled and my parents can’t take me. I’ve wanted to try out larp for a long time, so I was really excited, and I needed a good sport to ward off the osteoporosis that genetics has doomed me to one day have. But I do need more time to get my costume done (I’ve almost finished an awesome tunic, but not much else, and I don’t want to show up in sneakers and horrify everyone), plus the guy who invited me said it was going to be a ‘sausage fest’ (I would be the only girl, although that doesn’t bother me) and that ‘no one would pay much attention to me’. I’m hoping to go on the one on the 21st.
