Things I learned at my first Dagorhir Battle-
-If you keep your coffin shield as a horizon to your eyes it takes a long swing to get at your legs and its next to impossible to hit your shoulder.
-Shield bashing your opponent is fun but not always a good idea.
-Hit people in the back when they're fighting other people.
-Make sure the above doesn't happen to you.
-Don't get shot in the face with an arrow.
-My dad is kind of overprotective.
-Look at your opponent's sternum instead of the place you plan to hit.
-I actually have pretty good footwork.
-Always make sure the guy with the bow and arrow is dead, not legless.
-It lasts from noon to five. You will not make it past 2:30 your first day.
-A blow only hurts until the next blow hits you. And then sometimes in the morning.
-Your first instinct is to hit someone in the head. Don't'.
-Try to avoid letting someone pry your shield away with an axe. If it's inevitable just let it fall back, and go for their arm.
-I throw like a girl.
-I can't pronounce Dagorhir.
-They don't actually meet at the arch.
-I suck at fighting.
-But I can get better!
I killed three people. Also my Birthday is on the 27th.
